Gather industry data on behalf of its members
Collaborate on marketing initiatives
Promote the growth of eTailers both large and small
Act as an industry watchdog
React to bad press
Educate internet browsers on the safety and simplicity of online shopping
Promote the reach of online shopping
Promote the SUR-ETAIL logo, what it stands for and police the usage thereof
Ultimately strive to convert online browsers to online buyers
